When I first visited this are it wasn't the snow which blew me away, it was the lake and its amazing turquoise colours and the stunning wooded mountain setting. I fell in love with the place. In early November I had to wait a week for Heavenly to open and toured all the smaller resorts of the area, so much fun. Then this view looking down and out over the lake sums this place up for me in one word WOW. The lake the trees, the skiing, the colours and the snow all made together a slice of heaven, quite a big slice as it turns out. Truly wonderful, I love you Heavenly. This painting sings turquoise to you which in this area of the mountains was what stuck in my mind all those years since my first visit.
