Smiling, full of food and a little lighter on the legs, back on your skis heading off for an afternoon of sun and snow. What an incredible lunch stop, the Cabane restaurant near Verbier in the 4 Vallees in Switzerland, just below Col des Gentianes and Mont-Gele. It rises in front of you on a promontory like a waiter offering you a plate on his outstretched hand. How can you not stop. A really fun painting full of texture and colour with the glistening mountains in the background.
