Val d’Isere Skiing Painting near Tignes Coupe Du Monde Ok Piste. Great painting of the restaurant about 3/4 of the way down Coupe Du Monde Piste next to where the Downhill Course passes. Great place to stop for a meal, absolutely love it. One of my early sketches of Val d’Isere and one of my favourites. Acrylic on Acrylic paper 30cm x 40cm. Unusually for my paintings this has the colour black used in the shadows which gives it a real depth but is a colour I rarely use. Note careful with this don't enlarge it too much. Probably up to twice its original size is ok if you aren't viewing it too close up.
