Artist's Description

This painting just creates so many memories for me, heavy fresh snow in the woods, just being able to pick out the trees in the low cloud and seemingly endless snowfall. Slowly picking your way down through the woods finding the best routes and trails to make the best of the deep powder while taking care not to hit any flat spots sinking into the powder. Stopped just on the ridge above the next powder field plotting the next lines of descent.

This painting is part of the Skiing Feeling and Snowing Snowboards Collection of sketches. So cold the trees shiver, so much icy cold snow it sucks the colour out of the trees, but it is so special, feeling not seeing, the warm glow inside. Where am I ? Haven't a bloody clue, but its snowing.
