Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Great fun snowboarder print from Meribel in the 3 Valleys in the French Alps. This is a great spot for a bit of tree off piste skiing just next to the Dent Du Burgin Chair just above Meribel. Lots of textures and colours make for a really lovely painting.
