Description

Unbelievable painting from Val d'Isere in the French Alps taking you from the Laisinant Chair through Germain Mattis piste to Val. Through the amazing larch trees contrasting so beautifully with the white snow and the towering peaks above the air chiming in its chilly crispness of Early January. Late afternoon sunshine brightening the way. Take a zoom in with mouse over and see all the amazing detail in the trees and branches with some wonderful textures in there as well. Takes me right there into this great resort of Val d'Isere and Tignes. I can just smell the coffee at my favourite restaurant at the bottom of this piste, while looking forward to a wonderful lunch at the Sun Cafe. This is the second version of this view. Scroll down to see the other version. This one has a very sharp contrast to it with the light to try and simulate the low light of winter. the other version is softer.
