Val d'Isere Skiing Painting La Daille. One of my early sketches of the walk along the riverside to the Funival from the bottom of the OK piste at La Daille, Val d'Isere. Bright low sun on a frosty morning gives the painting a great light. The light catching the snow from the snow cannon just above the Funival. Acrylic on acrylic paper. Careful how much you enlarge this one the original is only 39cm x 17cm. Twice that size is an absolute max if you aren't viewing it too close.
