In between Meribel and Val Thorens is the Col de la Chambre where all the lifts meet and from where all the pistes emanate. From the top of the 3 Valleys chair you sweep down on top of the ridge to take your choice of from the many pistes on offer, down to Val Thorens, Les Menuires, Meribel or a sneaky coffee at the bottom of the lac de la Chambre piste. I was planning to put some skiers on this but it worked so well with the myriad of blues and a wonderful sparkle that I left it as a deserted piste which does occasionally happen especially if you get out of bed or take an early season visit. Great flow and textures on this painting tempting you down the piste.
