This is one of my favourite old gondolas, a bit slow and creeky, but the spray painted art work made this a fun sight in the 3 Valleys. This is one of a series of ski prints of paintings of this epic and historic lift to bring back memories and a breeze of history. Plattières 3 gondola in Méribel Mottaret was the last one of the 3 stage gondola to be replaced in 2020 with a new high speed chair. Great fun little painting with the sun bursting through the clouds shining a light on the snowy slopes below.
