As you drive up through the mountains, the streams are gurgling, the grass glowing a luminous green, birds singing and retreating drifts line the road. Where is the snow?? Then as you arrive into Verbier town you glimpse up above at the streaks of snow on the lower slopes and the white peaks above. Catching the first lift out of town and whoopeee. Who could guess the fun that awaits....sun, warmth, pine filled air and wonderful crisp crimpoline on pristine slopes taking you from the top of Mt Fort in its bowl of glacial ice right back into town. So much light, so much fun. Great painting in lots of oil colours. Use the zoom feature to see the detail.
